If you don’t know already, Cisco recently introduced CCIE Wireless v2.0 with updated Lab technology & hardware. Here are the details & link directly from Cisco:
The updated written and lab v2.0 exams will cover configuration and troubleshooting of the following:
- Layer 2 and 3 network infrastructure to support WLANs
- Infrastructure Application Services
- Autonomous deployment model
- Unified deployment model
- WLAN Services
The CCIE Wireless v2.0 Written and Lab Exams are scheduled for release in all worldwide testing centers on November 18, 2011 and will be the only versions available for testing at that time. An optional beta version of the new CCIE Wireless v2.0 written exam will be available in July 2011 at a discounted price of $50 USD. An announcement will be made several weeks before scheduling opens for candidates interested in taking the beta exam.

The beta version of the CCIE Wireless Written Exam v2.0 (350-050) is available for scheduling and testing at all worldwide Cisco-authorized Pearson VUE testing centers beginning September 16, 2011 and continuing through October 14, 2011. Candidates may schedule and take the exam on the same day. The beta exam will be offered at a discounted price of $50 USD, with full recertification or lab qualification credit granted to all passing candidates. Candidates preparing for this exam should refer to CCIE Wireless Written Exam Topics v2.0 on the Cisco Learning Network for a detailed outline of the topics covered.
Reminder: Candidates will receive their beta exam results six to eight weeks after the close of the beta period. Therefore, CCIEs in suspended status with an expiration date before December 31, 2011 should recertify using another exam. Candidates may only attempt a beta exam once during the beta period.

Effective August 15, 2011, CCIE Security Lab Exam and CCIE Storage Networking Lab Exam, in all global locations, will no longer include the four open-ended Core Knowledge questions. The removal of Core Knowledge questions allow candidates to utilize the total lab time for configuration and troubleshooting. The total lab time will remain eight hours.
